FORKS OF FREEDOM

This particular piece has gotten a lot of interesting feedback.  What started as a still life project in my oil painting class has become quite a suggestion box for interpretations.  I have heard interpretations such as America’s focus on food and a problem with obesity, or the fact that our country is at a moral fork in the road.  Regardless of the interpretation, the painting served as a great study of color and light as it seeps through folded fabric and bounces off a reflective subject.
