During the summer of 2016, I took the opportunity to further my experience with oil paint and composed a portrait of my two cousins, Aron and Josiah.  These two boys are full of personality and energy which makes it difficult to get a picture of them together, thus making the gift even more special.  I discovered a love for what I do in this project: a passion for the ability to make a painting come to life through the use of color and detail, and a joy in creating a meaningful piece for someone else to enjoy.
